A flat walk with stunning views across the mouth of Kenmare Bay to Scariff and Deenish Islands. Dog friendly until point C where there is the too common notice in the Beara Peninsula that locals shoot canines. Luckily the road here leads back to Eyeries and from the balcony at the back of Causkey's Bar the unaccomplished walk can be surveyed with a pint of Guinness.

It is only 6km if you continue on to the Coastguard station. It is a beautiful coastal walk, thoroughly enjoyed this walk and Eyeries is a very picturesque village. Take a rest in the sensory garden (beside O'Sullivans shop) at the end of the walk, a lovely way to finish the trip to Eyeries.

Did this walk in 2008. It's a beautiful scenic walk suitable for most walkers. I remember how strikingly colourful the village of Eyeries was as we looked up to it from sea level. A unique spot.
