Dawn from Carlow

Myself and my dogs ended up here accidentally while looking for a different walk... but I’m glad we did. This is a lovely walk, with great views. The signpost at the trail head says that this loop (blue loop) is easy, however the grading here (moderate) is far more accurate. There are 2 sections of incline that are a little tougher than easy!

We spotted a fox on our way round, didn’t meet a soul, and were rewarded with some lovely views! There’s 2 additional loops here too if you wanted more of a challenge.

One thing, the loop is listed as 3.5km but is actually over 5km (the trail map says 5.5km at the start of the loop)
