This loop walk has wonderful views over Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay, following both quiet roads and open hill.

Directions: Starting at the Bantry West trailhead, walk west following the foothpath until you see the purple arrows turning into the Boatyard and West Lodge Hotel Gardens. This trail is initially on quiet country roads and farmland passing by Lady’s Well and Mass Rock before rising to Boolteenagh where the trail continues off-road, and follows the ridgeline. At Loch na Fuilla (Lake of Blood), turn right and travel down to the main public road. Here, turn right and continue approximately 3km, before turning left and returning along the same trail to Bantry town.
