Great views, but the trail has been abandoned and let to rewild, bring wellies and machete for great views!

Poor signposts and poorly maintained, have to walk in the N59 for a few minutes and it's not safe. They could create a path through the rhodendons and avoid this hazard. The path, when you can find it, is very swampy in places, great view but could be better more boardwalks and better signage please!

Really wonderful and well maintained trail. Excellent signage throughout! I began my hike at the Mulranny Park hotel and traversed the causeway to the sea shore before taking the path uphill to witness stunning views. I loved the sense of peace and tranquillity as I overlooked Mulranny and beyond. Beautiful flora and fauna. This is a walk of stunning beauty and immense diversity. I encountered 3 different European designated areas of conservation and Ireland’s largest National Park! The route featured elevated views of the dramatic deepsided Bellacragher Bay and to the south the stunning spectacle of Clew Bay and its drowned drumlin islands set against the majestic Croagh Patrick. The Mulranny Causeway is a lovely unique feature! Grade: Moderate. Length: 6K Recommended time is 2 1/2 hours but I did this on my own in 80 minutes.

A good trail but the uppermost through woods was inaccessible due to swamp conditions. Great views from summit on the way down to the beach. We'd recommend this trail. Completed in under 2 hours.
