Tugann an lúb ghairid seo amach ó Seanchosán Tréada an Chairn deis don chuairteoir amharc níos fearr a fháil ar phéire lochanna íocónacha de chuid Inis Eoghain. Is é Loch na mBinn an ceann is gaire agus tá dhá oileán ann. Tá An Loch Fada níor faide ó thuaidh agus tá crannóg (tulach saorga a tógadh le haghaidh lonnaíocht ársa) ar an aon oileán ann.

This short (optional) loop off the Old Carn Road Drover's Trail is waymarked from the main route with pink directional arrows. It provides an opportunity to view more closely two of Inishowen's iconic lakes. Lough Naminn is the closest with two islands, Lough Fad (Long Lake) is further to the north and has a crannóg (artificially constructed mound for ancient settlement) on its only island.
Note: This Loop is only waymarked as an option from the Old Carn Road Drovers Trail, and not from the Trailhead.
