One of the best trails I have done! Unbelievable panoramic views north, south, east and west. Steep but manageable climbs at parts. Very suitable for families with children. Trail is well worn and sign-posted throughout, so easy to follow. I imagine it could be quite exposed on windy days and boggy terrain after rain. We did it on a glorious day

For me this is the best short loop walk in Ireland. I have done it approx. 60 times to date and it's got that mix of sea, height, civilization and distance just right.
