This is a local walk with parking on the side of the road. There are 2 entrances. It is used by locals for dog walking and jogging. It is flat most of the way around with some slight inclines. It is pretty for most of it and great for kids.There is a small bridge as you enter and leave from the Garryvoe Road side handy for the game "pooh sticks". It takes about 45 minutes to an hour with kids, so a brisk pace should get you around in 30 to 40 minutes. The view on one side of the woood is a bit bleak but 2 thirds of it is nice. It runs next to the Castlemartyr Hotel golf course, so you get a good view of that too.
