Brilliant varied walk, thoroughly recommend it, do wear hiking boots very muddy in parts.
Well sign posted.
A credit to the landowners for allowing us walk their fields.
Credit also to the local community, a lovely village really kept very well, well done to all concerned.

Nice trail and views but kind of easy to lose the track in places due to overgrowth. Missed one turn and saw a sign on other side of hedge. Don't know how I missed a ladder, ended up climbing a gate to get at it. An arrow pointing straight ahead doesn't always mean such. There were a few fields with charging cows and no signs. Could see Upperchurch in the distance so knew where to go. Nice trail to go once.

A lovely short walk for a summer's evening. I walked/run the 8km in 90 minutes. Lots of walking due to hilly(good) and rough ground(bad). I knew it would be farm land so as expected parts are well well dug up from the cattle. Signage seemed good enough since I didn't get lost and I had no map with me.

Would I do it again? Yes!
Would I recommend it? Yes!

Well done Upperchurch. You're a credit to the rural community.

Well marked trail. Most of the walk is through active pastures so be mindful if hiking on a wet day as mud maybe an issue. The old laneway and the benches, which have a great view, near the two kilometre mark also add to the trail pluses.
