As part of #HEROutdoorsWeek Sport Ireland hosted a webinar to celebrate the thousands of women who tried something new throughout the week and to motivate others to find their outdoors and reap the benefits of being active outdoors.

Hosted by Sport Ireland’s Women in Sport Lead, Nora Stapleton the webinar featured representatives from the Network of Local Sports Partnerships and National Governing Bodies who discuss the many programmes on offer throughout the year and from #HEROutdoorsWeek Ambassadors Anais O'Donovan and Tarja Owens both avid adventurers and outdoor activity enthusiasts.

The key note speaker was Nikki Bradley - Adapted Adventurer and Motivational Speaker who shared some insights in to her journey in to the outdoors and some invaluable tips and advice to ensure that you make the most of the outdoors and embrace the challenges that it brings!
