Swimming: Irish Successes at Sheffield

Twin sisters Fiona and Eimear Doyle (NPC-UL/Limerick) won gold, silver and bronze medals at the British Youth and Open Swimming Championships in Sheffield. Fiona won the Gold and Eimear the Silver in the U/14 & 15 Breaststroke 100m. Fiona also won a bronze in the 100m U/14 & 15 Freestyle 100m

Thomas Yang (Coolmine) won two gold medals at the British Age Group Championships also in Sheffield. Thomas, 13 years of age won the 100m FC and 100m Fly. He also took the silver medal in 100m Freestyle.
