Pitch & Putt: Ward wins 12th National Title

Ger Ward( Portmarnock) won the Irish National Strokeplay Title for the 12th time in fine style at Tullamore over the weekend. Ger, who is also the current National Matchplay Champion, scored a brilliant 140 strokes, 22 under par for the 54 holes. Runner –up Siobhan Scannell( Collins) finished just one stroke behind with Tracey McGrath (Erry) a further 4 stroked back in third.
