Pembroke Badminton Club

On Thursday 12th September Badminton Ireland paid the club a visit, and found the members in full practice at Terenure Badminton Centre, Whitehall Road.

Pembroke BC was in existence in the first decade of this century.  In those early years the club played in the R.D.S. complex which is on the old Pembroke estate, hence the name.

For the past 30 years Pembroke has been a tenant club at Terenure Badminton Centre. The club boasted some outstanding club members including Mary Dinan, Nikki Lane, Holly Lane and Dick O'Rafferty to name but a few.
