Cricket: Ireland v Bermuda

Ireland scored a massive 524 for 8 with centuries from William Porterfield (166) and Andre Botha (122). In reply Bermuda was all out for 192 in the first innings and 186 all out in the second.

David Langford -Smith took 5 wickets ion the second innings. William Porterfield won the Man of the Match Award.

Ireland gained 20 points from the game and is now in 2nd place behind the Netherlands with a game in hand.

The Irish team has now a well-earned rest from international cricket until 2008 after the most successful year ever for Irish cricket with is historic top 8 place in the World Cup in the West Indies.
