Cricket: Bob Kerr Irish Senior Cup Final

29 Aug 2007

The Final will be a local derby between Fingal rivals North County and The Hills. North County will be attempting to win the Cup for the 4th time, having previously won in 2000, 2001 and 2005. The Hills are contesting their first final.

Both teams have international Irish players on duty including some of Ireland’s heroes from the World Cup in the West Indies.

It should be a great final and is a fitting tribute to the memory of the President and Chairman of the Irish Cricket Union, Bob Kerr, who died suddenly this year supporting the Irish team during the World Cup in Jamaica.
