Canoeing: 6th Place for Rheinisch

Eoin Rheinisch(Salmon Leap Canoe Club) finished 6th in the KI Kayak Singles at the latest round of ICFR Slalom World Cup on the River Sava in Tacen, Slovenia. This follows his excellent 6h place in the European Championships in Slovakia last month.

These performances augur well for Eoin‘s chances of obtaining Olympic qualification at the World Championships in Brazil in September..
 
Eoin is in the Irish Sports Council’s International Carding Scheme and is supported at World Class Level. He also received substantial support from the Irish Institute of Sport in preparation for his European and World Championship campaigns.
