European School Sports Day

Friday 25th September, Nationwide. European School Sports Day

The Irish Primary PE Association will lead a nationwide celebration of European School Sports Day, encouraging primary schools across Ireland to deliver inclusive, non‑competitive activities that get every child moving. Schools that register will commit to completing 120 minutes of physical activity on Friday 25th September, supporting pupils of all abilities through fun, accessible activities that promote wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging. By involving teachers, SNAs, families and local partners, ESSD will strengthen whole‑school engagement and highlight the importance of active, inclusive school environments.
