Sport Ireland and the Irish Judo Association jointly announce that Maxim Trigub has committed anti-doping rule violations

Sport Ireland and the Irish Judo Association jointly announced today that the Irish Sport Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel determined that Maxim Trigub has committed anti-doping rule violations. 

Mr Trigub tested positive for erythropoietin (EPO) during out-of-competition testing on June 1, 2024. He was found by the Irish Sport Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel to have violated Articles 2.1 (Presence of a Prohibited Substance) and 2.2 (Use of a Prohibited Substance) of the Irish Anti-Doping Rules.  

The hearing was held under Article 8 (Disciplinary Proceedings) of the Irish Anti-Doping Rules and this announcement is made pursuant to Article 15 (Public Disclosure) of the Rules.
