Croquet: Disappointment for Irish Team at Home Internationals

The Irish croquet team had a disappointing weekend in the Home Internationals, held at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire. The team, consisting of Ed Cunningham, Simon Williams, Patsy Fitzgerald, Charles von Schmeider and Gerard Healy, were beaten in all three matches. England went on to win all their matches and the Championship. Scotland were runners up.
