This is a lovely trail of beach front, forest & road, and you can have an ice cream on the promenade to finish.

Walked this from Strandhill having walked over Knocknarea. The Killaspugbrone Loop is an easy level route on good paths and roads and is well way marked. The ruined church at Killaspugbrone is well worth the visit. Just be aware that at the highest tides the path along Domin's Strand may be flooded. My visit coincided with a high tide and the sea was just a few inches below the level of the path but there was evidence of seaweed on the path and just above it.
