The trail follows very quiet roads and ancient cart tracks with grassy surfaces and dry stone walls each side, passing an old lime kiln and offering views over Carlingford Lough and the stunning countryside.

If your not up to a hard mountain walk, this is ideal. Great views, well signposted.

A well sign posted walk the Rooskey loop offers great veiws out over Carlingford Lough and a walk through an abandoned village.
