This walk takes an elevated path overlooking Lough Corrib passing through these lovely very varied woodlands with a wide variety of different habitats in the vicinity of Cong. At the lake edge there is a seating area to enjoy the scenic views of Lough Corrib and its islands.

Beautiful walk through the forest at the lake's edge, you can also take a detour in around Ashford Castle which is stunning in itself.
