Visit the blessed well, old church and graveyard at Templebeg before journeying on through Birchill and Knockane and its abundant wildlife and pleasant flora. The Duck Pond, just 400m to the south of the trailhead has a picnic area where you can relax after your walk.

Emily from Tipperary

The trail is very nice but is in dire need of maintenance. Very overgrown with briars head high. Many of the poles are hidden and the ladders overgrown and unusable. In one field about 30 cattle charged at me. Overall it could do with having more poles and make it obvious where to go when you go under an electric fence.
