We did the 2 loops today, starting with Slievethoul, the route was pretty straightforward and the loop pleasant although not consistently signposted. And we didn't come across any of the "archaeological monuments" advertised in the overview...
We found the start to the Lugg loop easily and started it anti-clockwise but there are some works happening up there that somehow seem to have affected the loop, we got lost at some stage due to no or poor sign-posting (one led us the wrong way) and it took us a good while to find our way back to the road.
So top marks for Slievethoul but I wouldn't do Lugg until you know that whatever works are happening there are complete.
