In response to the review of “Louise from Leitrim”
Thank you for visiting our walking Trail in the village of Fethard on Sea and we are disappointed that you chose such a low rating.
The trail is described as woodland and therefore one would not expect a sea view. There are ample views of the sea at the bottom of Main Street at the bridge and cliff walks at Carnivan - less than a kilometre from the village. This is a small peninsula with 13 beaches within 15 kilometres and sea views all over.
We have ambitions to develop more cliff walks but this needs landowner access permissions.
Any rubbish left on the trail is cleaned up daily by CE workers. If you visited in between cleanup times you may have encountered some discarded items at the bridge crossing the stream.
The trail is for the use of all age groups and youths are not discriminated.

Lots of rubbish, youths loitering, we expected a view of the sea when visiting Fethard on Sea
