This trail, situated in a large area of parkland in Trim town, follows surfaced and grassy paths all around the edge of both the western and eastern sections of the open parkland, initially along the River Boyne, passing all the sites of historical interest in the area and including the 13th century town of Newtown, with details on interpretative panels. Views of the surrounding area are wide-ranging.
